Born in the late 80s, Kalvin "KapShure" Welch was born into the era of artistic self-expression. Through the years, he had taken the influence of many of his peers and began to mold the makings of what would eventually become the gentleman you have before you. Throughout his high school years, still experimenting with disposable cameras, he developed a love for photography. It became an interest that he just couldn't deny nor part from. Whether it was in front of, behind, or beside the camera, KapShure was there.
His photography talents began in Brooklyn, NY and have taken him as far South as Florida. His casual, unintentional photos taken, span from as far West as Mississippi and as far South as The Islands of The Bahamas and The Islands of Grand Turk. With KapShure planning to travel to various locations, you will definitely see KapShure's work in your area. On a journey to create artistic pieces, KapShure has investigated the crevices of the Great New York City, and is currently still investigating.
As of 2014, Kap - as he prefers to be called, received news that his work was published. In March of 2014, KapShure's work was on display in Rasputin Magazine's March Boudoir/ Pin-Up Issue. Kap looks forward to continuing on this path of success. Having worked with many more dedicated talents, there is only room to grow.
"I hope you enjoy what you see on this site and appreciate it as well. To those that are artistically inclined, I hope my work speaks to you in some form. To those that aren't, I still hope my work reaches you on some level. There is an artist in all of us, we just choose to express it differently. Thank you all for the love and support." - Kalvin "KapShure" Welch
